Home description

La Gavia is a luxury 2 bed apartment with 2 swimming pools, (adults and young childrens) with the most beautiful tropical gardens ,it is a safe ground floor apartment, beside the beach , tennis club , gymnassium , restaurants , the local shops and town are only a 5 min walk, the marina at puerto banus is nearby (5 mins by car),offering fantastic night-life. There are a large selection of Golf courses nearby. The apartment has hot and cold air conditioning,all mod cons are in the apartment , towels and linen are provided.(cot and high-chair are provided).

The Costa Del Sol/malaga region

With over 330 days of sunshine a year, the costa del sol is a real hot spot, whether you would like a family holiday,a nice relaxing break , a romantic break ,or you would prefer the night life in puerto banus, look no further, its all here, summer starts at mid April until end october. February 18 degrees C August 40 degrees C are typical temperatures
The apartment is located 200 metres from the beach, at playa de san pedro, , the broadwalk along the beach is lined with restaurants and beach bars, so you don't need a car.
There is so much going on in the area, the marina at puerto banus has great night life and is frequented by many famous people many whom own boats at the marina, there are great shopping areas in puerto banus ,like the commercial centre "cortes de ingles" which has international shops, there is the famous casino in marbella, or take a bus trip up to Ronda(one of the white villages) 40km up into the mountains where many spanish settled after fleeing the Moors(moros) some 800 years ago,there you can see Spains oldest bull ring, and Ronda is steeped in history .
La Gavia itself is a small complex of only 40 apartments , its quiet ,tranquill and relaxing, and can only be entered through locked gates, making it ideal and safe for young children,or a relaxing break.



Marbella puerto banus area

La Gavia , is well located , within striking distance of the marina in puerto banus (4 or 5 mins by car )which is famous for its night life . and is only a 2 minute walk to the beach, and is opposite club deportivo , which has a gym , tennis courts,and a restaurant . there are many restaurants, shops, and beach bars within a few minutes walk from the apartment.

We are now back in Norway and would just like to thank you for letting us rent your apartment in puerto Banus . The apartment was very nice and everything went well, exept that Sofie broke a milk-glass.
The weather was sunny most of the time and the temperature around 24 degrees. A nice time of the year to visit Spain. (october 2006)
